Tetra Dynamics is a robotics company focused on dextrous manipulation.
Robots have shown impressive improvements to mobility in recent years, from barely being able to walk to effortlessly dancing. However, to make robots generally useful we'll need to make a comparable leap in dextrous manipulation. That's what we're working on.
To accomplish this, we're designing a new robotic hand from the ground up that's able to complete dextrous tasks reliably. We want the hand to be able to do a wide variety of tasks for years without maintenance.
This means picking the right degrees of freedom, actuation strategy, and sensor integration that maximizes the usefulness but minimizes downtime. We're also designing the system to train and deploy the hand to give customers the best possible end-to-end system.
We're working with our first set of customers to automate manufacturing problems that are impossible to automate using traditional grippers. If you're interested in working with us please send us an email.
